We teamed up with Pelikan Print Co to create this limited edition print in honor of our RVA studio opening – and then we put it on a tee shirt! The artwork features a classical pottery form embellished with all our favorite Richmond iconography - paying homage to the city we love and the rich history of pottery in our region.

About the Artist

Katie Pelikan started Pelikan Print Co. in 2018 as a way to make time for intuitive drawing and continue the craft of screenprinting. It's a celebration of the natural world simplified into calm and mysterious forms. Folk art, to Katie, has always been the way that humans capture the essence of something rather than its accuracy. It can be strange and charming all rolled together.

Katie is inspired by ancient pottery, pictorial quilts, and medieval tapestries — especially from her British and Czech ancestry.
