B3 Brown Laguna Clay - Cone 5

A pliable clay with smooth grog. Great for sculpture (use a high gloss glaze when making dinnerware). Color comes from manganese and iron. Fires almost black when in oxidation. It is not recommended to fire this clay in reduction. A medium coarse, dark clay with 60 mesh sand. Turns deep brown in reduction and brown in oxidation. Good for various forming techniques.
