This open-level class is designed for students with prior wheel experience who want to refine their technique, expand their skill set, and build confidence on the wheel. Through demonstrations, individualized instruction, and plenty of practice time, students will strengthen foundational skills while exploring new challenges such as throwing larger forms, working in multiples, combining forms, and experimenting with different clay bodies.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis condensed month-long course meets once a week for four two-hour sessions and includes access to open studio hours seven days a week for additional practice.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRecommended for students who have completed one or more Beginning Wheel classes (or have equivalent experience), this class is best suited for those who can comfortably wedge, center, and throw 2.5–3 pounds of clay and are familiar with the full pottery-making process.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStudents should bring their own clay, tools, and bats (we recommend at least four 12\" bats).
